Flower Power Science

You will need:
3 white carnations
3 vases or tall glasses
Red, blue, and green, food coloring

Fill each glass or vase half way with cool water. Color the water in each vase/glass a different color with food coloring. Place one carnation in each vase/glass.

You can document how many hours or days it takes for each carnation to start to change color. Which carnation changes color first, which carnation changes color last.

You can also use other colors like yellow, orange, or purple. Make a nice bouquet of “homemade” colorful carnations to display around the classroom.

These activities and games help to develop your child’s mind and teach them to be more observant, as well as learn. Your children will love to try the NEW activities & games.

Money is the first of the 6 powerful personal energizers. It’s an energizer because money must be there for you to obtain the things you must have, and need, to support your daily needs such as housing, clothing, feeding and providing life-sustaining functions for yourself and your family.

Money is the first, albeit least important, energizer. Yet it becomes more powerful as you decide on and plan for your other desires such as investment, cars, wardrobes, vacations, etc. The more detailed your desires, and your achievement plan, the stronger money becomes as an energizer.

Unfortunately, negative folks have the mistaken impression that if they could just get their ‘mitts’ on an extra sum of money, they would be set for life.

Folks who receive money without planning or working for it almost always find themselves reverting back to their original financial level, or worse. Their standard of living does not really increase, and, in many cases, decreases because of their excessive spending on material related ‘toys’. The point is, if you receive money without earning it, and, subconsciously see yourself as having money without earning it, you can literally spend yourself back into mediocrity because you did not learn to respect money as an energizer.

Money can only be a positive energizer when the amount you earn is in direct proportion to the service you render - personally and professionally. Money is good, but it can not, by itself, make you happy. Money can only allow you the opportunity to investigate the other things that can contribute to your already happy and successful life.

Be careful, however, with this energizer. It is easy to become so overly protective of your monetary well being that you do not even try to serve others, and this over-protection of your monetary well being can diminish the value of your monetary health and even diminish the amount of money you acquire in the future.

Does society have the right to measure your individual success by the amount of money you earn, how much money you have or how you use it? If you answered “Yes”, then join the thousands of other negative folks who are also going nowhere. Monetary success can only be accurately judged by your attainment of your individual definition of monetary success.

You need a clear vision of the money you will earn in the future. The amount of money you earn must be supportive of, and not conflict with, your overall definition of success. At this point, do not consider whether you will earn the money in your current job, whether you will obtain a second job if necessary, or begin a home-based business. Do not consider your spouse’s income, nor any supplemental income you may receive. For money to be a personal energizer, it must be earned consistent with the service YOU render.

I am not saying you should not want to earn ‘tons’ of money. I hope you do. But, more importantly, the amount you earn must be in direct proportion to the service you render and it should be in alignment with your overall definition of success. If it doesn’t, you stand the chance of being in constant conflict with yourself and earn less than you desire and need,
